Somatic Practice & Breathwork

Body-led
practice.

A weaving of breathwork, somatic processing, and nervous system regulation. Less about doing something to the body, and more about building the capacity to listen, to feel, and to stay present with what's here. Sessions are paced, trauma-aware, and shaped around you.

Regulation is not suppression

Regulating your nervous system isn't about staying calm, looking composed, or pushing emotion down. It's the opposite. Regulation is what makes it safe enough to actually feel what's there.

Letting your body shake, cry, soften, or come alive isn't a problem to manage. It's a sign of a nervous system coming back online. The goal isn't to feel less. It's to feel more without being swept away.

What sessions hold

Somatic awareness

Learn to track your body, regulate activation, and build capacity to stay present in intensity.

Resets & integration

Intentional pauses to ground and reconnect, so insights actually land in your body.

Ritual & intentional space

Opening and closing rituals and shared intention mark the time as meaningful.

Personal support

1:1 guidance to deepen your own process and integrate what arises.

Breath is the foundation

Across traditions, from prana in yoga to qi in Taoism, breath has been revered as the bridge between body, mind, and spirit. Modern science agrees: breath is the fastest lever to shift your nervous system, signaling safety or mobilizing energy as needed. Slow, coherent breathing at five to six breaths a minute supports calm, heart rate variability, and resilience over time.

What people often experience

  • Increased connection to bodily sensation
  • Emotional processing or release
  • Insight that arises on its own
  • A sense of grounding and clarity
  • Improved stress resilience over time
  • Better sleep and nervous system balance

Accessing deeper states

With longer sessions of deeper, faster breathing (typically 1 to 1.5 hours, supported by music and guided facilitation) breathwork can open the door to expanded states and deep emotional release. It's for those seeking profound inner exploration who feel ready for intense experiences.

This deeper work isn't right for everyone. Please check with your healthcare provider if you have heart conditions or high blood pressure, are pregnant, have glaucoma or recent surgery, or have unresolved trauma without professional support.

Guiding principles

Consent-based

Trauma-aware, with safety, grounding, and your agency throughout.

Regulation first

Regulation before intensity; sensation before story.

Integration over catharsis

What matters is what you carry into your life afterward.
