Kat
Facilitator, Coach, & Co-Founder
For over twenty years, Kat's world was shaped by the frontlines of global humanitarian and refugee work. As a spokesperson in spaces of intense crisis, she learned deeply about the heavy burdens the human spirit can carry — and what it takes to find hope and resilience in the middle of the storm.
But her understanding of grief and survival began long before her time on the global stage. Losing her mother at seven years old shaped the landscape of her life. It taught her, intimately and early, about the profound weight of unexpressed sorrow, and set her on a lifelong journey of learning how to tenderly reparent her own inner child.
Today, Kat's work has moved into the intimate landscape of the human mind, body, and heart. As a facilitator and coach, she brings the depth of her personal and professional journeys, alongside her own deep practice with medicine work, to help others navigate meaningful transitions. She is passionate about creating new rituals in our lives — especially around grief, letting go, and reclaiming the parts of ourselves we may have left behind.
As a highly sensitive person, Kat uses her finely tuned awareness as a quiet strength: reading the room, attuning to the nervous system, and creating a steady container of safety for each experience.
When she is not holding space at Colibrí, Kat is a mother to two young children, which keeps her deeply anchored in the messy, beautiful reality of everyday love and reparenting in real time. She can usually be found walking in the woods, lost in a stack of books, or happily making terrible pottery with her hands in the clay.
Tal
Facilitator, Coach, & Co-Founder
Long before Tal entered the worlds of technology, finance, consulting, and entrepreneurship, he was learning how to survive in his own way. Anxiety shaped much of his early life, teaching him to stay alert, push through, and become highly capable on the outside, even when things felt unsettled on the inside.
That early pattern followed him into adulthood. For over twenty-five years, Tal built companies, led teams, solved complex problems, and worked in fast-moving, high-pressure environments. From the outside, it looked like success. But over time, he began to realize that performing well and holding it all together did not always mean feeling grounded, connected, or at peace within himself.
His own healing path led him to breathwork, somatic work, movement, meditation, and medicine work — practices that helped him slow down, reconnect with his body, and begin listening to himself in a deeper way.
Today, Tal brings that lived experience into his work as a facilitator and coach. Through breathwork, somatic coaching, nervous system regulation, movement, and integration support, he helps people move through stress, burnout, life transitions, and the feeling of being disconnected from themselves. Helping people “remember” who they are, while supporting who they are becoming, has become a guiding principle in his work.
Tal’s style is grounded, steady, practical, and intuitive. He is not there to fix anyone. His intention is to create a safe, supportive space where people can breathe, feel, reconnect, and come home to themselves.
Outside of this work, Tal is a husband, a dad of two, and someone who is still practicing all of this in real life. He loves working out, sitting in the sauna, being with his family, playing music or having music on in the house, hiking, and spending time in the mountains.
